Lake Pueblo Walleye Fishing As the weather warms, Lake Pueblo walleye fishing just seems to be getting better! Lake Pueblo walleye fishing has been great with lots of fish and some keeper walleye mixed in the bunch. Pueblo walleye have been hanging out in smaller schools and constantly seem to be on the move, so if you are not graphing fish than move. Where the walleye bite may be in the morning can change in the matter of just a couple hours, so stay on the move to stay on the walleye. Depth and presentations have been changing as fast as the walleye have been moving. So the rule of thumb is if your graphing fish but not getting hits then keep changing lures and presentations until you get a bite. Most of the walleye have been on the bottom or suspending just off the bottom, so your normal walleye fishing techniques have been working well, jigging and live-bait rigs.
