Fishing across Colorado is starting to pick up with some cooler weather finally rolling in. Cool nights have started to drop water temps across the state which typically signals the fall meat bite is about to take off. Lake Pueblo fishing is starting to pick up as the shad schools are being thinned down fish appear to be taking lures and baits more readily. With so many shad schools in Lake Pueblo, the key seems to be finding shad schools with fish actively feeding on them. Spending time roaming the lake can pay off when you find arches slashing through shad schools on the graph. Some of these fish seem to be in a feeding frenzy hitting a variety of lures and baits once you find the right nature scene conditions. FishOn! FishHead Outdoors |

AuthorFishing is not a hobby, it's my lifestyle. If I'm not on the water, I'm thinking about being on the water. Obviously obsessed, the fishing journey has carried me across the Rocky Mountains eventually across the states, where I encountered the term "FishHead" for the first time. "FishHead" - a person who is completely consumed by the thoughts of fishing; an incurable sickness caused by fishing that consumes a person during all awake hours and usually persists throughout the sleep cycle.
