Mid-winter ice fishing for pike in Colorado can be difficult to say the least! But with hard work and perseverance the angler can still get the chance to tangle with some big fish. Mid-winter pike can be difficult to locate so expect to drill many hole and move often. The pike during this time of winter seem to get more finicky so switch baits, presentations, depths, and locations often. Usually I'm fishing for just one or two bites in a day, but that one bite could result in a nice fish!
