The Bite is On at Lake Pueblo! As fall cools the air and the leaves change color, water temperatures drop along with less daylight triggering Colorado's fish to put the feed on for winter is not far away. Many of Lake Pueblo's fish are following the shad schools and Gorging! Find the shad schools and find the feeding fish. Since shad are the primary forge base in Lake Pueblo, many different species are feeding on them including walleye, wiper, catfish, carp, and bass. When fishing the shad schools you never know what's tugging on the end of the line, could be a big walleye or catfish, carp or possible a big wiper? So when you set the hook and that rod doubles over zinging drag the Colorado adrenaline fishing rush hits, realizing you may have a fish of your dreams tied up at the end of the line!
