Even with high water levels the walleye bite is on at Lake Pueblo! Lake Pueblo water levels are extremely high closing the South Boat Ramp, however the walleye are still putting the feedbags on. The bass fishing has seemed to slow down from a week ago, but the carp fishing has only gotten better. An occasional wiper is still being caught, however with little consistency. The bite seems to be changing from day to day, along with changing throughout the day. The walleye are in schools so when you find one active fish, stay there for a while and put the grind on those fish. The walleye seem to be moving throughout the day so when the bite stops or slows down, move depth or location to get back on the active fish.
