| Colorado fishing for big trout is hot on Spinney Mt Reservoir! Spinney opened for the season April 1st and the big trout are on the feed. A variety of fishing techniques can be effective early season on Spinney including trolling, pitching jigs and lures, along with fly fishing. These trout have come out of their winter slumber and actively looking for food. The bite will typically remain hot on Spinney until the water warms and the weed beds start to take over. FishOn!
