| Time to hit the ice fishing in Colorado. Antero Reservoir has 8 inches of good ice with 3 to 4 inches of snow on top and fishing is pretty good. Trout are roaming in small dispensed schools which are eager to bite in the morning and become more finicky as the day progresses. Brightly colored ice jigs and light dull natural colored ice jigs are working well tipped with your favorite bait either wax worms or meal worms. Use your jigging skills to entice trout to bite for the dead-stick presentation would often attract fish, but they would quickly lose interest and swim off.
